Tamekope Church of Christ is located in a community called Penyi-pedo Tamekope in the Ketu North municipal assembly Dzodze in the Volta region of Ghana.

The church was established by Penyi church of Christ in the year 2007 with (4) members. Currently, the church has an average membership of about fifty-three (53) of which twelve (12) are male, sixteen (16) female, and twenty-five (25) children.

The church has a permanent place of worship and we worship under a structure, though we are having a well-roofed building but not yet fully completed since 2016 by the help of Dzodze Ablorme church of Christ. The weekly giving on Sundays is around GH 30 to GH 45. Most of the members left the village to cities because of jobs and some to further their education and this is affecting the growth of the church.

I am Victor Tsadia, 34years of age, married with three (3) children.  I am the preacher for Tamekope church of Christ, since 2013.

The financial position of the church is very weak and difficult to support me the preacher financially.

This is why I applied for support from the Rescue Ghana Mission. I have been on Rescue Ghana Mission support for about 3years. I have been receiving a monthly allowance that supports me as I lead the church in such a poor and deprived community.

I really appreciate the support I receive from R.G.M. on monthly basis. It has been helpful to me because without their support things would have been very difficult for me and my family.
