The Asukyerema Church of Christ is located at a small village called Asukyerema in the Upper West Akyim Distrist of the Eastern Region.
The church was established by the Adeiso Church of Christ in the year 2000. The Church meets at in a school building. Our average membership is about 17; males- 6, females-6 and children- 5.
Our average weekly giving is around 20 cedis and with this the Church is unable to support me the preacher. My name is Emmanuel Okai and I am the preacher. I live with my family at Adeiso about 8 Kilometers away from Asukyerema. Every week I commute from Adeiso to Asukyerema to preach.
Considering the size of the Church and our financial situation, I applied for support from Rescue Ghana Mission and they agreed to support me. For about two years now RGM has been supporting with monthly allowance.
I want to use this opportunity to express my deepest appreciation to the management of RGM and all those who have been contributing money through the RGM program to support rural preachers of the Lord’s Church. God bless you all in Jesus name; Amen!
At the moment the Church need money to acquire a piece of land to build place of worship. Ware appealing to churches and individuals brethren to come to our aid.
